DCC Integrations

A DCC integration is a Connect plugin that is built on top of the ftrack Integrations Framework and libraries, enabling ftrack integration into DCCs such as Maya, Photoshop, Nuke.

Launching​

Part of each integration is the launch extension yaml file, which is read by Connect on startup. This file contains paths were to find DCC, arguments to pass, environment variables to set and extensions paths.

Configuration​

The DCC config extension is a yaml file that contains the configuration for the DCC integration. It primarly contains the list of tools that should be available in the DCC integration, typicall added to the DCCs main menu.
