Introducing ftrack Connect, a powerful desktop application that seamlessly integrates ftrack Studio with a variety of creative applications, referred to as DCCs throughout our documentation. ftrack Connect simplifies asset publishing, offers extensive customisation options through scripts and plugins, and optimises your creative workflows for maximum efficiency.
Out of the box, ftrack Connect offers a suite of essential features, including:
- Application Launcher: Easily launch applications from ftrack Studio or through the ftrack Event system.
- Plugin Manager: Efficiently manage and install plugins for Connect, enabling seamless DCC integrations and additional functionalities.
Beyond DCC integrations, ftrack Connect also provides the following features as downloadable plugins from the Plugin Manager:
- Asset Publishing: Effortlessly publish assets to ftrack Studio.
- Time Tracking: Accurately track time spent on tasks.
